The group’s main revenue generator was established in early 2001 by the name of Cirkel Direct Sales. The operations utilize our international networking to supply basic food commodities to wholesalers. The main lines include Frozen Whole Chicken, Chicken Leg Quarters, Flour, Sugar, Vegetable Oil, Salt, Split Peas, Milk Powder, Canned Sardines, Diapers, Toilet paper, Cured Beef and Pork Tails.
In the starting year CDS imported 800 TEU’s (20 ft equal containers) and in 2002 this increased to 900 TEU’s. Both 2003 and 2004 exceeded the 1,500 TEU’s, which made this business unit the largest food importing company in Suriname. |
